Wow 1962!I did'nt know they had hobby detectors then.It must have great, every coin above nickel was silver!

IHs are a real fine coin, even if the one you recoverd looks like a good case of cancer. Just goes to show people, even after all those years of hunting an area, there's still some goodies to be found. Good job.

Looks like someone was practicing their welding on that Indian Head, Terry! lol

It just goes to show you there are still some old coins in that park! Hunting since 1962, wow, that was the year I was born. I bet you've found a truckload of coins over the years!

Interesting item, bet it was nice to pull that from an area you have been hunting extensively.

That's an amazing coin it literally rotted from the inside out . Except for the tumors that would be in great shape . A heck of a conversation piece . thumbsup01 Congrats on the 43 cents of clad , you found a penny more than I did tonight . |) lol

i would still say MS64 lol lol lol lol still good dig it is nice to know the 1800's are still out there for the picking if your are willing to put in the time

Congrats on the IH despite the blemishes and my hat is off to you for being a detector since 1962. I bet you have had some extremely productive hunts which I could only dream about. :sleepy:
