RTD and I found a place where they were tearing out an old walk way and puting in a new sidewalk so when they were scraping it off we went in behind the machines with our machines LOL I found an 1897 Barber dime as well as a 1942 mercury dime, and six wheat pennies, 1926,1930,1941,1944,1957, and 1959.

RTD also found some wheat pennies and a 1911 bufalo nickle.

Pretty soon he's gonna issue you guys some bigger shovels and put you to work lol Great finds and really surprised he let you guys stay. What a break that was thumbsup01 Nice silvers and that is much better than I usually do when I see a naked sidewalk

Congrats on the great finds!

I have had very little success with sidewalk tearouts. The first one I did was a silver mine, but it was an old spot. Every other time the original sidewalk was dugout and sanded before laying the concrete, so there is nothing left to find.
