Gary is this a "cuff" sized button ?? if so then its not the ay-12a. button for that is the 22mm in size . the cuff is 15 mm and ay-23av. or ay-23bv. type , its a nice button .

Dan is correct, I missed the 15mm description below, it has to be the AY 23bv, which has 6 spokes. So your earlier question to me is the cuffsized more valueable, Alberts has this one RV15, versus RV25 for AY21, dang, too many letters and numbers. :) Dan, since it was cuffsized I made the mistake of thinking Albert's just did not list the cuffsized of AY12 which in smaller size vary a bit at times, my bad. UPDATE, Albert's has a screwup , so not sure what it is for sure. plate photo does not match the description for either AY 23av or 23bv, might be reversed? One has oval wheels the other round.

I agree Don , I suspect they are reversed as well . regardless its still a sweet button Gary and you got very lucky using the clr on that one , it can be a bit to harsh on these earlier buttons .

Dan it is the cuff sized one, I have never dug a military button that small.

Ouch on the prices, it must be more in demand thanks to our hobby! I bought mine back in 1995 for about 40 I think..... Don

I just did a quick search on Ebay. Saw several of Albert's button books. They ranged from $35 to $49 dollars. Maybe I should get myself one and call it a christmas present from me to me.
