Today I met up with John (midas) to detect at the Connecticut park I had been to yesterday. John had to leave after a short while but I stayed for a few more hours. I ended up with eight silver coins by the time I had to leave, five mercury dimes dated 1918, 1935, 1939, 1942, and 1944-S, and three Barber dimes, dated 1900, 1910, and 1916-S.
I also dug up sixteen wheat cents, with some oldies in the mix.
I haven't cleaned this large disk so I don't yet know what it is. The tiny turtle almost went into the trash pouch. It's tiny, so I'm glad I took a closer look.
