What a morning! Hunting buddies couldn't go this morning so I got up early and headed out for my old secret honeyhole around 8:30 am. The E-Trac was fully charged and ready to go so I cranked up the Manual sensitivity to 28 and away we went. The first hour was not to good. A few clad coins and some Memorials so I decided to go back to the last area where I had found silver last week. The first good signal was a 12-43 at 7 inches. Bingo! A 1957-D Rosie. Silver #97! :happydance01: Then a foot from that one I got a 12-45 at 5 inches. A 1959-D Rosie. Silver #98! happydance02 Then about 20 minutes later I get a very solid 12-31 at 5 inches. I flipped the plug and saw the gold!
mg: A huge 1/4 inch wide 14K men's wedding band was staring right at me. Then about a half hour later I got another Rosie, 1946, at 7 inches. Silver #99 for 2012!
eace: What a morning! I wanted to stay longer and get #100 but I had to go. Maybe tomorrow. I also got 19 clad coins totaling 98 cents. Happy hunting to all! :beerbuddy:
