Found Some time yesterday and hunted a older park for a few hours and found my first silver coin of 2011, a 1942s Merc . I also found my first ever Eisenhower dollar coin. The wheat dates are 17?, 42d, 54d, 58d. With these 4 foreign coins it brings my 2011 total to 7.

Thanks for looking and HH

Howdy Amigo!
Nice going on your finds! I like Ike!
I've found 3 or 4 of them over 3 1/2 years of hunting, and always thrill to find 'em!
You're doing well for 2011 already!

Blessings,

Great finds, Dave. Did you see the Eisenhower I posted yesterday? It must be a good week for Eisenhower Centennial Dollars! Too bad we were hunting alone. Those Ikes could have bought us lunch in one of our best coin of the day hunts. :peace:

Nice hunt. Wheats, a Merc   and a bunch of foreign coins. :clapping: We used to buy coins like that out of a gum ball type machine. They would come in plastic capsuls for 50 cents I think  Foreigh paper money sold that way also. I believe that was in the 70's and I think that is responsible for finds like yours sometimes.
