Went back to the cellar hole I found on Wednesday where I got a KGII and started the day off with a Big Silver. Was a great start but then things got real quiet after that. After that only nabbed a cloak button, thimble, 1905 Indian and 1918d wheat

Nice looking Barber  In that condition it's probably a $100.00 + coin. If they can leave a Half Dollar there, that place still has nice stuff to give up. Nice coin

EF-40 at least.still has mint luster around the stars my 2011 red book lists it at $160. 2013 price is probably $170-80.nice find! I took the skunk.some broken shoe buckle pieces,a couple harness buckles.tons of shot gun headstamps, not even a button crying01
oh well... tomorrows another day  thumbsup01

That is one great looking coin.... :congrats: :perfect10:

I have to agree that if that was lost then there has to be other goodies there.

I bet that coin was so loud Dave heard it in his headphones lol
My guess is it wasn't very deep either, no?
One heck of a coin, congrats.

:perfect10: That is a beauty!!!! Great photo for the banner too |:cheering:

Wow, the August coin contest is going to be interesting.

That Barber Half is simply GORGEOUS! :loveit:

Without a doubt the nicest Barber Half I've ever seen dug.

It looks like it still has mint luster.

Congrats on the incredible find, Todd! |:cheering:

I teased Dave by letting him listen to it before I dug it, I knew it was gonna be silver  Actually the coin was 4-5 inches so I was expecting a big reale.

Thanks Tony, Me and Dave thought the same thing about the mint luster, I never thought it was in this condition when taking it out of the ground.
