Got out with Frank today.been awhile since we hunted together.
Found some sites pretty deep and we hiked our butts off to get to em.sadly they were all hit but I squeaked out a few nice targets at each site.1st site...a 1803 or 7 draped bust LC and a large designed dandy button 2nd site a small cuff button and a knee buckle frame.3rd site a beautiful fully silver gilted one piece eagle button 1812-1830 ish era,a zouave ball button and a flatty.4th site was gorgeous! so much area but no targets at all :thinkingabout: but i got me a 3 foot long strap hinge near barn.1908 IH in trail.
frank got a couple flat buttons & a nice silver gilted designed dandy button
1st pic is finds from last sundays hunt with todd

Wow Dave, that navy button is beautiful.
I found a few of those lightly made buckles like the second from top in your first pic. They seem too light for a knee buckle. :dontknow:
