Copper's #32 and #33 at cellar hole hunt yesterday

Making the post short as I have to get up early tomorrow to hunt 1732 Home stead.

Yesterday I found an old site that Dave and I had a hell of a time finding. It was a beautiful site deep in the woods and our hopes were high thinking that there was a chance of a Virgin site since it was in a very secluded area. My first target was with in 2 mins at the corner lip of the hole. I got a sweet sounding 84 VDI on the mxt pro when out popped a clad quarter that was obviously buried there from whomever found this site before us :hairpulling: :hairpulling: :hairpulling: cudos to them for playing a nice trick on future TH'ers

I gotta get to bed so here are my keepers from the day an 1808 Classic head in decent shape, a very worn colonial copper(smoothie) probably a KG, some buttons and a suspender plate with a moon motif

Thanks Tony, it's actually my first Classic Head Large Cent. I have found classic head half cents but not a largie

A lot of times the Classic Head large cents don't hold up well for some reason  That one survived nicely. :clapping: A fine addition to your collection.

Todd, that 1808 looks fantastic, :congrats:. Do ya really think that someone purposely buried that clad quarter??

Congrats on the Classic Head, I too need one of those for my list. Nice items, did the skeeters drive you crazy again?

great looking classic head :smitten: :smitten: Todd , they usually don't hold up well .

Dave you look like you lost a bet and had to do the old shave by fire for losing the best find of the day. lol lol
