Feb. 1st 5 hour hunt

I woke up this morning, to yet another great winter day here in Mich. :happydance01: 45 degrees. Unreal! for the first day of Feb. Decided to try out the private park again. Since the last visit had produced a silver dime and quarter. Spent about 5 hours hunting. After a short time. I found my first silver ring for the year happydance02. After which seemed like an eternity. I finally found a 57 Rosie <:. Also dug $3.57 in clad, and pennies. A couple of Wheaties. And a sinker. Not to mention my weight in bottle caps. Tried out a new over sholder strap. Which I found on ebay. $15.00. It really helped with the weight of the detector. It is a little cumbersome. But my arm wasn't all wore out at the end of the hunt. I'm posting this in the early a.m. on the 2nd. Getting ready to hit it again today. Retirement is great! thumbsup01

Looks to me like a satisfying hunt. Wheats, silver and a nice looking ring. Yeah go ahead and rub that retirement thing in my face.....someday I'll be able to say that. Congrats on all your keepers.

Congrats on the first hunt of the year. And yes, retirement is GREAT! :loveit: The hardest part of the day is deciding what park or beach to go hunting at! lol I retired at age 48 and never looked back. Guess you could say I traded one career for another.
 
Nice ring! And a silver rosey. Looks like a great hunt. It's always nice to get some gas money on the way to finding the silver. |:cheering:
I got $2.44 yesterday but no silver. :crying02: Still, a February park hunt is fantastic in Michigan! Congrats!!
