A ton of snow has melted in southern RI this past week and tempuratures have been in the mid 40's -lower 50's so I decided to try and do some detecting. On Monday I took the AT pro to a local place after school to find the ground frozen
, so I headed to the beach instead. After a little bit on the beach I noticed I wasn't getting any signals at all. To make a long story short, the AT pro is at the Garrett facility as we speak. Luckily I still had my trusty Ace 350 sitting around so today after school I headed to the same spot I attempted to go on Monday but this time found the ground digable:thumbsup02:. I started swinging and picked up some clad and also my first chucky cheese token. Lol. Also got a 1930 wheat penny. It's been 7 weeks since I last dug a hole in the ground so even zinc pennies made me happy. Can't wait to start cellar hunting and hope to get out in the woods as soon as I can. HH!!!
