First Silver for the year And its Spanish !

Hi all,
Went to my favorite field this past weekend and popped a pretty nice 1/2 Reale. Dated 1802.Pretty good start for the season.[attachimg=1]

great coin and its in very nice shape too (are you sure its a half reale lol) the reverse is it in just as good of shape ?? congrats Tom :perfect10:

Im not sure if it is in fact a 1/2 reale.It is very small in size,smaller than a US dime.It has the pillars on the reverse.

If it's smaller than a dime then it is indeed a Half Real.

Hey Tom , you were right about the denomination all along :yes: i was just playing with ya about it because normally you only see half reale's that are worn almost smooth while the 1 an 2 reales look sharp like that. its a great coin
