GORGEOUS SILVERED COLONIAL SHOE BUCKLE*GROUP HUNT

Dan invited us down for a group hunt to 3 of his sites.left to right is Jesse(sniffy)Dan (Del) me(heavymetalnut) Todd(Thiltzy) & Ray (Kray) from Va.
we really had to work for our finds as these sites were hit pretty good in the past.i got a few buttons,a 1859 IH penny and the most ornate applied silver colonial shoe buckle i've ever dug.I used the fine brass bristled brush,with warm water & dish soap and it cleaned up beautifully.was a gorgeous day finally,and good to get back out with the guys.thanks Dan for the invite thumbsup01

mg: Dave, that shoe buckle is a beauty! I didn't realize at the time that it would clean up so well. Definately the find of the day. Your Indian head is a 1859 as was mine. awsome hunt :grouphug:

hey who said to lineup by hight in that picture lol lol homnestly , Jesse an I arn't that short rofl rofl .it was a lot of fun seeing everyone again , the finds were sparse but there was some very good quality in that mix of goodies we got but the weather couldn't have been better and the company was stellar. we'll do it again soon my friend :yes:. i'll post my stuff on here tomorrow i'm dead tired and you guys wore me out :goodnight: :sleepy:.

Dave that is one of the nicest buckles i ever saw,picture what that looked like in the 18th i would have been proud to wear that.
