I took a copy of Sept 2010 Western& Eastern Treasures to the gym w/me yesterday. I layed it down, upside-down, and when I went to pick it back up I was shocked to see Hillbilly Dave smiling up at me! My mom got to finally see who I've been talking about these past few weeks. We've been hunting a lot together lately and I wanted to brag on him- because I knew he'd probably never post this himself.

I immediately called Dave and told him and Linda. He said 'what'?! Which magazine? He knew he'd been in Lost Treasure, but not E/W Treasures... lol

Anyway, way to go Dave! :clapping:

Thanks Everyone, There is a story about how I ended up in Garrett ads. It's in a up coming book from Ram Books called Relic Quest which is due to hit the store shelves sometime in March. It is written by author Steven L Moore who has written books on metal detecting including Last stand of Texas Cherokee and European Metal Detecting Guide (Techniques, Tips and Treasures ) along with about 8 other books. Thanks again Y'all, Hillbilly Dave
