I Got A Sunburn and an SLQ Today

Sunny and 68 degrees makes for very pleasant detecting conditions! :yes:

I started out early this morning and tried two old parks that I had never been to before but they were both a bust, not even a lone wheat cent. So I decided to go back to the park where I found the 2 Barber Dimes a few weeks ago.

Today at this park I ended up with 3 Indian Heads, 15 Wheat Cents, 4 Mercury Dimes, 1 Rosie and 1 Standing Liberty Quarter. It was a really fun day.

I was super excited to find an SLQ! Too bad I scratched the obverse slightly. At first I thought it was dateless, but under magnification I can tell that it is a 1920-S.

Is that even a partial fingerprint by the 0 in 1920? Nice bit of silver. Just waiting to pull some out of the ground myself.

Tony, great, great hunt. Lots of early wheat's, of course some IH's and all those silvers......:wow:. Hope you had your video camera with you cause I can already picture the smile on your face.
