I am feeling better so I had to try it out there,I went out to the old 1850's church where I found the 2 center and seated Quarter,I lasted only about a half hour and had to quit. I found 3 IH 1865-1890 and 1905 also a bit of junk,not quite ready for this + it was hot out there.think I will wait for a couple more weeks befor I try again,

WOW! Those Indian Heads are in beautiful condition, Terry! that 1905 almost looks like it has some mint lustre left on it. And that 1865, just spectacular! I've never found an Indian Head that old.

I'm glad that you didn't sell your equipment and that you were able to get out and hunt. Good luck, and don't push your self too hard in this oppressive heat.

That half hour hunt found more Indians than I find all day lol Nice bunch of coins and anytime you can get one before 1880 is a real plus thumbsup01 You did extremely well considering the heat and humidity. Relax and wait for better weather.

I'm with you on this one... that heat is brutal.
