I'd be embarrassed to show my two toasted Illinois coppers, so I'll just drool over yours, Coop!

They are all spectacular, but that 1797 is :omg:

Drooling, drip drip! Drooling, drip drip! :envious: I would love to find one of those, but I think it aint going to happen. But, I am happy for all that have found them. Lets see those pic's!

I haven't found many... yet. crying01 Only two. 1835 and 1855.

Although this is certainly the 'Rosie' of coppers, here is my best.

Since I haven't been fortunate enough to dig many, I'm really looking forward to what will be posted here. :->

I've got about 16 coppers but they are no way near a pretty as the pictures posted, so I wont be posting any pictures. I've got to say that all of the posted coppers here are just fantastic and I sure would like to get one in the shape that these are in. Come on everybody, start posting up your pictures

How about telling us all how you go about cleaning them

:loveit: :loveit:   :smitten: boy oh boy , i see some great looking coppers gents ....

I must tell you that Illinois Coppers don't fare much better! The fertilizers in our cornfields are just murder on them. Here are mine (all found since I got my e-trac). Enjoy! Dave.

Freudian psychoanalysis would say I have Copper Envy. lol ... big time. :daydream:

Awesome pictures everyone. Most of these I dare not think about finding. \:hammer:

Great idea Coop!!! |:cheering:

I found this 1820 LC next to a stone house built in 1790. I think it might be my all-time favorite hunt :) It was so far out in the country, a neat old building and my oldest coin thus far.

Well, I might as well show off my other copper because I've only found 2 of them lol My first one, an 1833, really sparked my passion for metal detecting. Check out the site- it's really neat, kinda creepy looking isn't it? :shocked04: Yes I usually hunt there with other people
