Macro Camera?

I'm in the market for a new camera specifically for taking close-up photos of my finds. I would like to know what brand and model camera you are using and could post an example of a close-up taken with your camera.
Santa is giving me a new table top studio for Christmas and I would like a decent camera to go with it.

I use the Canon Power Shot ELPH 300 HS. It's a decent macro camera and it's tuff to beat for the price. I paid under $200

Yeah. Thats what I use too. A Cannon Power Shot. Mine is the A3000IS. But they make a new one every couple of months and you gotta get whats the newest thing out it seems like. Unless you buy a used one somewhere. But they're all pretty much the same thing. lol I lost a Cannon Power Shot 1000 something 8/ lol And when I bought this one there was no learning curve involved. \:hammer: The same thing with a different model number on it.
But yeah, they work pretty well! lol
Heres a couple of the smallest marks on a piece of jewelry I've ever seen.
On the clasp of a goldfilled bracelet I found. Marked 1-20 12K

I have used 3 Canon PowerShots and now I own a Canon Vixia HF R30 HD CamCorder. It takes videos and pictures with the same camcorder. The only problem I had with it is it comes with a 15 min battery and that is not long enough. I bought the larger capacity battery and now last for 125 min. Got a new more expensive tripod and it works grate. 51x Zoom

I will just add that I have had TERRIBLE luck with Nikon Coolpix cameras. I have owned two of them, and both of them gave me a Lens Error when they were still practically brand new. It seems that this is a very common problem with the Nikon Coolpix cameras.

Never again! :hairpulling:

I have the Power shot A1200. It's not too bad with close ups and it was cheap!

I've got a Nikon Coolpix L610. It takes incredible close up shots. This ring has very small print on it.
