More Fairgrounds silver

Went to the fairgrounds for a couple hours this afternoon... wasn't having the best of days.. hard to concentrate with a sinus headache... landed a 1941S Merc... and found a Silver spoon.. it was heavily tarnished.. and had to dip it in cleaner and then use a SOS pad to get it clean.. The first pic, I took 1/2 way through cleaning it.. but the entire spoon was thick black.

Anything silver is cool. Myself I probably wouldnt have cleaned the spoon, but thats just me. I hope you have the same luck or better next hun there. :clapping:

By the way, I was at an auction this past weekend where there were some old silver spoons just like yours, and they went for several hundred dollars each. :shocked04:

Wow, you are a real silver magnet now, even when sick lol Nice Merc and even nicer hallmarked silver spoon :shocked04: :shocked04: Looks pretty heavy too. That has got to count for at least 5 silver coins I think you have a lot of areas to rehunt there. Nice job on the finds and hope you feel better!
