My first Copper Pocket Spill

Got out with you know who again on Sunday. Seemed like we walked more than we actually hunted :stretcher:

The holes were pounded pretty good but I was still able to find my first copper pocket spill that included two coins, Coppers #29 and #30 for the 2013. The area was extremely saturated and it seems like the coppers had been resting in this swampy ground for a very long time. Both are complete toast and unidentified. >:/ >:/

The highlight of my day was waiting for Dave for about 30 mins. We were searching for one site in the woods and after I made it back to the dirt road, I realized Dave was no longer behind. 15 mins later my phone rings and a frantic voice is asking me where I am. I kept yelling and whistling into the woods so that Dave could follow my voice back to the road. I was almost ready to start a fire and send up smoke signals for him to follow rofl rofl. Dave I told you I would post this :poke: :poke:

Hmmm... :thinkingabout: I can't recall any blunders on my part Dave. You may be waiting an awfully long time before publishing that story :bop:

Looks like you guys had a good hunt, especially in spots that have been hammered by others. :clapping:

I always like to carry a GPS when hunting new spots  or going deep into the woods...saved my butt on more than one occasion.

Oh, I feel the love in this thread.. :smitten:

rofl rofl rofl

Nice Spill Todd! :clapping:.....good story too lol

Todd,
So happy to hear this! I felt so ditzy when I had to call you last time, :embarrassed: I swear I looked up from swinging :detecting: and walked back the way I thought I came only to find out it was in the complete opposite direction! It is amazing how everything starts looking the same in there and your heart starts racing and panic sets in! :shocked03:

Congrats on your copper finds!

Stacey
