My first pocket watch...sort of.

I had about an hour to do some hunting today. Instead of swinging in the open field the whole time, I decided to try the edges into the brambles and weeds.

I got a couple of clad quarters first. Then I got a pocket watch. I didn't expect that to pop out that's for sure. It looked like a complete watch at first, but after getting it home I found that the solid part inside was all dirt! So, all I ended up with was a back and the outer case. Still a cool find IMHO.

Lastly, I got a copper medallion of some sort. I've yet to look up what company it might be from.

I'll definitely will have to hit the area more. There is a lot of trash, so it may be a while before anything good comes out.

Looks like a great watch to me. Save it for a nice display after finding other cool watch parts.
