Joe and i got out today , Joe got a very nice 2 cent pc, Just as he was finding the 2 center , i jumped an he jumped up waving his arms , i yelled you gotta see this , in the bottom of my hole about 8 inches down there it was , my 1st morgan silver dollar , 1882 in very nice shape , and yes >:\ it seems i scratched the back, . also got and 1911d barber , 1943 merc and 5 wheats , great day , here's some pics . the morgan in the hole and me holding it , thanks for the photo Joe , so we both found a 1st for ourselves



Joe and i are going to look for another one tommarow morning , same old church thumbsup01 thumbsup01

She is a beauty. I really don't think you hit it with your digger.
I noticed that scratch when I was admiring the coin. A fresh scratch on an old
silver coin will be nice and bright. The scratch here is the same tone as the rest of the coin.
My guess is the scratch is almost as old as the coin. :yes:
