Been Metal Detecting on and off since 70's. Have a White's Eagle Spectrum, White's Eagle Spectrum XLT, Garrett Freedom Ace Plus, and a Teknetics Mark I detector. Am retired now and looking forward to swinging a coil if this weather ever changes!! Found this web sight and it looks informative and interesting.
thanks,
ALF

Welcome form South Carolina! You've been doing it since the 70's? I look forward to hearing some of the stories you must have.

Welcome from Illinois! :waving:

We're glad you joined the forum, Alf! You're certainly in the right part of the country to be finding the good stuff. I hope you are out there finding some colonial coins and relics when the snow finally melts.

Best of luck and happy hunting!

Welcome to the forum from SE Wisconsin. It should not be too much longer for the weather to get better. Congrats on your retirement and good luck this season.

Howdy Alf. Welcome from The Lone Star State. Glad to have you aboard. Hope your weather lets up before too long. (it was 75 here today - just too warm for February) Looking forward to seeing some of your finds. Happy huntin'.

Hey Alf! :waving:
Welcome to the forum from the cornfields of Illinois!
Like the others have said, you must have some great finds and stories from all your years of swinging a detector!
If you get a chance we'd love to see and hear some of those stories!
We gotta have something, since we can't get out and dig in all of this snow and cold. :frozen:
