No clue what this is

Just stumbled across this find from last fall. I just started detecting this past year (thanks to Thiltzy for introducing me to the hobby). I have no idea what this may be. I assume it's not real old based on the threading on the inside. Any guesses on what this might be?

Forgot to mention size if it helps. Measures 1 1/2" and diameter of hole is 11/16". Made of brass. Thanks.
