I found this place after looking at some old ariel photos from 1937. The site is currently just an open field. The photo shows a diamond shaped object about the size of a ball diamond so I thought it would be worth checking out. Well my suspicions were correct. My first couple of swings yields a Merc at 5 inches. The silver I found were as follows a 37- D and 44 Merc, 2 Rosie's 48-S and 52-D. I also found $2.02 in clad all dated from the 60's a 35 buffalo Nickel and 5 wheats the oldest is 1919. I did find one interesting item it is a pin that has a runner on the front. On the back of the pin it has:
RT McKenzie copyright 1912 For playground and Recreation Assn. of Amercica
Does anyone know anything about this pin?
