headed back up to a old home i was hittin last week. dug a busted clip on cufflink, a chinese coin?anyone read chinese?how old is it? and some reign guides.decided to stop at a cellar hole i ride by all the time.the only thing visible left of the cellar hole is a unoticeable well.very close to road so alot of road trash, trees down everywhere due to logging & kinda rough hunting.but,i dug a beat up 1827 matron head large cent.2 musketballs one is made of pewter  was this common practice in the 1800's to make pewter shot? :dontknow: a old hair barrett thingy? :thinkingabout: a medalet ? (note the hole and ornate border)with a missing something in the middle & too bad the brown bottle was missing a side piece woulda been a nice addition to my collection.
hope you all have a safe holiday!

Now you're back on track. Hey what's with the shells at every cellar hole? :groovy:
the oyster & clam shells were the remnents of many colonial dinners.was a staple of their diet

well that beats yesterdays totals by some lol lol very nice and another copper for the talley. :peace: :peace:

Great looking relics Dave!! Looks like the tide is turning in your favor now. Nice large cent to add to the collection. Happy Hunting!!

Nice finds. On the second pic of the chinese coin, the first character is the number 5. I don't know what the second character is. It could be also part of the number, i.e. 500, 5000, or maybe the type of coin, i.e. 5-dong.

Congrats on another LC. All those relics look cool. Rob, Tim and I have been discussing cellar hole hunting......not really, those two know what I am talking about
