old spear point

I found this spear point my very first year with a dfx. Had i been experienced I never would have dug the choppy signal i recieved.
But luck was on my side and at a foot deep(in woods with a large shovel) this was laying at the bottom of the hole. I was in shock
but was able to call my wife, had to tell someone. I didn't even look for the object that gave me the signal.
I did find another type of point but it is copper I think. That will be another story later.

Yeah if I saw that in the bottom of the hole, I also wouild have forgotten about the metal object. Really nice find

Congrats on a very nice relic. A friend of mine found a copper arrow head many years ago in Northern WI. It was dated about 3000 years old. HH

It is looking more and more like the world may end very soon. I say you should throw that other copper point on this thread!

I would personally say that a nice stone arrowhead in the same hole with a native copper point would qualify as one of the best and most exciting holes EVER!

The bronze point was at a different location a few years later. I would have had a stroke if the two points came from the same hole
sorry for the confusion. I did post a picture of the bronze point this am. mike
