I have been an Amateur Radio Operator since 1979. Just curious how many other Hams are members here.

My call is N9AWO and here is a link to learn more about me and my hobby: http://www.qrz.com/db/n9awo

Like I always say Support Amateur Radio ....... have A Ham For Dinner rofl

Here is a pic of my Ham Shack :

I am also a ham radio operator. My call sign is N7SCS, I hold the now extinct Advanced Class license, and I have been a ham since about 1991. My shack is not nearly as nice as yours. My station is a pretty modest one, and I have made all of my contacts using a G5RV at about 60 feet. I have not been active for a few years, but I will retain my license. Who knows when I might get the bug to be active again.

Very nice set up. :shocked04: I'm not a ham radio guy, but I do have a unit that I received in cleaning out a home for sale. I don't think it's an expensive unit, but it was free lol Nice that you have some form of communication that is not tied strictly to society's grid thumbsup01

My late father in law was a avid ham radio guy,i have his radio's....don't know what im gonna do with them :-\

Good deal George. I am not as active as I used to be, but still have all the gear and I fire it up once in awhile.

Now that looks good Steve. Hard to beat a good ham. The wife picked one up for Thanksgiving that was Honey Glazed and Spiral Cut. Now that was good eating.

I have scanners all over the house. I have enjoyed radio communications since I was kid. I had a transistor radio with a SW band and I use to listen to the tug boats on the Ohio River. After that I was hooked.

General Class here. Don't usually post my callsign on the web tho... will happily send it via PM if you're curious.

Haven't been on the air in a couple of years. I need to put a remote mount mobile rig in the Miata. Too scared to put anything else in it as I don't want the top cut.

Great radio shack ya got there Steve thumbsup01 there's still people calling me every now and then asking if I'll fix their radio for them, I have been tossing it up in the air but as of yet I'm steering clear of working on them right now, I might put me up an 11 meter antenna and get back on sideband one of these days.

i have at least 7 police scanners and 2 shortwave radios 3 cb radio's ,i don't listen that often anymore. :-\
