Prettiest Sterling Yet

Only had a short time to hunt this morning as I had arranged to have breakfast with some people that I used to work with. We try to get together at least once a year. So that being said here are my finds. 4 wheats with the earlies being 1920, a beautiful sterling ring, and a pin that has a trumpet and beneath that it says NEWS, next line, ANNOUNCEMENTS, then EVENTS.If anybody could shed some light on this item it would be greatly appreciated. The last picture is an eyeball find as I was leaving the park. |:cheering:

That is a great ring! :congrats: I'm glad you specified your last find was an eyeball find. I was thinking for a second there that I bought the wrong detector. I should have bought the one that finds cash! :beerbuddy:

Beautiful ring, Al! That's a great find!

Sorry I can't help you with the heart pendant. That's a head-scratcher.

Congrats on the eyeball cash too! thumbsup01

wow! that's a looker of a ring! any makers mark inside? or just sterling?

Dave, it has a triangle with an A inside it. No 925 or sterling but it tested as sterling.

Are those small diamonds in the band? You should have them tested

Rob, good idea. seeing that in your past life you dealt with jewelery, any chance of the stone being anything other than peridot? My wife is really taking a liking to this ring :omg:

If the stone is peridot it could be of terrestrial origin or extraterrestrial. I believe the olivine crystals in pallasite meteorites are also known as peridot. Although the extraterrestrial version is worth considerably more.
