Road trip to Massachusetts *two coppers and new friends*

2-1/2 hour road trip Friday night to MA. Dave Wise and myself got invited by Carol Rio to detect a field and some 1830 standing homes. Carol accepted us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Most of the people involved in our hobby are some of the greatest people I've ever met. This is one of the greatest things about this lifestyle. I was lucky enough to score two coppers including a beautiful 1723 King George I and a beat up draped bust. also found a hand full of colonial buckles and other relics.

Agree with you 100% Todd. You meet some nice folks in this hobby.

That is one of the nicest Georgies of any year that I have seen come out of the ground. :perfect10:

Holy Cow! :shocked04: INCREDIBLE detail on that 1723 King George I copper! :loveit:

That thing must have been dropped the day it was minted!

Congrats on the great finds and the new friends, Todd!
