Silver Nickle

Got out this evening for some coin hunting. Went back to the old school house and was surprised they had cut the grass. Last time I went the grass was 2ft tall and thick. I pulled out five nickels and a penny . I got a nickle signal 12-11 and I seen silver. Thinking something must be wrong with the E-Trac . Because I have never seen a silver nickle before. Will be going back to this spot when I have time. H.H.

Nice war nickel. I like finding them, 'cause alot of people ignore them. It is weird to come it an 12-11, as they come in at CO 15 or 16 for me. Maybe there was some trash in the hole that mucked with the signal a bit?

12-11 13-12 have all been nickles on mine. Could have a lot to do with the soil composition also.
