Some of my finds from last couple of hunts

I've tried to post these a few times and written nice long stories to go with them and for some reason it never showed up. So this time I'll be brief and just get the pics up there with a short description. I have been out a couple of times lately and found some fun things, one thing I'm sure I will get screamed at because it was bent and I tried to unbend it only to break it, so my nice friend told me what it was and welded back together for me. I'm sure everyone will be able to figure it out!:bangahead02: The smaller of the spoons is marked MED DEPT USA which I think dates it to WWI. The Lucky Penny has a scene of Niagra Falls on the back. Other than a couple of mercs, the silver coins are my first real silver finds! I was super excited to find those. I think the wagon wheel must be off an old kids toy unless anyone can tell me different and I found my first whizzer!

:wow: wow Stacey some great finds there , love the trigger guard and barbers :smitten:

Did you see what I did to the trigger guard?? Yet, you didn't yell at me, thanks!;)

nope i only yell at Dave :lol: besides those types of guards are notorious for breaking like that , theres usually a screw hole there that weakens the area there and makes them suseptible to breaking in half .

Fantastic bunch of nice old finds :thumbsup01: That lucky penny is very cool, I found a buffalo nickel that size about 4 years ago myself

:congrats:

WOW! Love all your relics :perfect10: Congrats on all that beautiful silver. The keys and padlock! :thumbsup02:

Excellent hunting! I've never seen lucky penny like that- it's huge!

Congrats on the fantastic bunch of finds!

I agree that the wheel is probably off of a child's toy, maybe a wagon or a baby buggy.

I love those Barbers, especially the two quarters! That's awesome! :thumbsup02:

:congrats:

Thanks! The barber with the dimes is actually a 50 cent piece! The one in the dirt is a quarter. I detected all around that wheel looking for more pieces but couldn't find anything else.

Great bunch of relics, and of course the fantastic Barber haul :clapping: What a hunt!! Don't fret too long on the bending issue. I have unbent some items that I knew would break, but just couldn't help myself  Next time you will more patient. Nice finds for sure!!!

Thanks! I will definitely get a little advice before I go bending things!
