Took the T2 out for a short spin yesterday,MUSKET BALL MANIA!

Gave the CTX a rest on this quick hunt at a field down the road from my home,and grabbed the T2 for a 1.5 hour hunt.Took about 10 minutes for me to get the first hit which turned out to be a musket ball at 8 deep.2 minutes later I got another signal,another musket ball!Within the first 1/2 hour I found 5 musket balls in a 15' area.The hunt got a bit quiet near the end but did manage to dig up a pretty cool button also toward the end.Looks like I will be spending some time in this field until the frost closes me out! :grin:[attachimg=1][attachimg=2]Back of star button added.12/3/12

nice! is that button pewter? i see some green on it so it could be brass but sure looks pewter to me :thinkingabout:

Not to shabby for a quick hunt. Love finding musketballs and that button is really cool also. Does the button have the shank?

I don't know...but T2Tom has a ring to it :yes:
I seem to be pulled into digging musket balls with my T2....you have a boost process T2 or regular?

I don't think the button is pewter,but I'm not very good at relic identification by any means.I will post a back photo soon.

congrats on the musket rounds and the button does look old , i'll be curious to see the button's back as well.
