V3 and Factory programs

I was reviewing the factory programs and noticed that that the discrimination settings are not really open. With the DFX discussions it appear to be the consensus that you should allow more of the negative value frequencies to be accepted in order to get more depth. For example, you would accept -40 to +95 even when just coin shooting.

Did I misunderstand what people were saying? If this is correct, does this also apply to the V3?

Recommended or not, its what Ive done.Accept every VDI and assign a zero tone to the ones you dont want to hear.I cant say that it has helped me with missed targets, but I'm sure it hasnt hurt either.
