Weekend cellar holes *Flying eagle cent and relics

I took Kpmoose to a cellar hole on Saturday after work. This was the cellar that I got a civil war token and Peddler badge previously so I thougnh we would give it another try. My finds included an Indian, Merc and a 1858 Flying Eagle Cent.

Sunday I got back out with Dave and tried two cellars that we have never hunted before. Both holes were loaded with iron and very challenging to hunt. The flies were out in droves and made hunting almost unbearable but we worked through it and filled our pouches with a good amount of relics. I got 4 more crotal bells, a few buttons, pocket watch, A watch FOB with a ship on it, a nice bell and a 1916 Merc(not the D mint mark :-\)

cool little tea cup.some nice finds.the sites were definitely challenging to say the least.we didn't take the skunk though!

Wow You certainly got a lot of bells. Where are the whistles? It looks like it was worth putting up with the flies.

Some nice finds there. Is that serial number on the watch fully readable? If so you might be able to get a manufacture date on it if the maker is known.

Don't get to see many FE posted.... :congrats:. Four crotals is really great and bell is awesome.
