I found it to be very interesting. Stereo headphones are not new but the ability to have two programs running at the same time is pretty big.

Hey Dan,
Yes because everything they are doing is based on having two audio channels in use (stereo). The only thing that they have mentioned so far that affects all users is a new tone setting.
Let's say that you don't care about the rest of the stuff.... One neat thing will be the ability to adjust volume level of a standard program per each ear. This is significant for people with a single ear hearing problem (like me).
So even if you don't want to "get into" running two programs at once if you have the software and the new stereo headphones you can just run a standard program and have a little more control. It's a interesting concept that really is new. Now this being said I do see the possibility of really having a earful of signals on busy ground of adjacent targets be they ferrous or non ferrous.
I also think that it's probably not going to be easy to get the most out of the unit with two programs running. To be honest there are a lot of guys not understanding (really) the existing single programs. No worries the YOUTUBE know-it-alls will be putting out the greatest ever programs on Saturday morning after the release Friday. They of course will have no idea what they are talking about but that won't stop them. Get out there

I think the update has a lot of upside. I've been wanting a multi-Reactivity option for a long time! This will be fun.

Todd you are so right about the youtuber "experts". I have no interest in hearing about their programs unless the explain why they chose those settings. None of them ever do.
