Looks like a good hunt to me, Dave! That 1864 Indian Head cleaned up great, and there isn't much wear on it at all.

:congrats:

Heck of a hunt Dave....I hope you're taking advantage of today's hunting weather! I'll be headed out soon

were the finds from the spot we were talking about Dave ?? love the baldric buckle , it looks like there is decorative stamping on one edge . congrats on some nice keepers.

Nice set of finds and good to see you had some good wx. Raining here today. Is that a thimble to the right of the buckle?

yes the 2 sites we talked about.we really had to work for the targets.somebody def hit these places before.the buckle had a casting flaw that's what you see on the one corner.

I really like that buckle Dave, we don't see them to often. The Indian did clean up nice btw. Those damn gnats were raping us and even worse today don't you think?:hairpulling:

Very productive hunt!:thumbsup01:...that IH held up nicely!!!.....at least the wasps weren't out too!!!!
I have several barber dimes that have that same circle "punched" into them...I wonder what that's all about?:dontknow:
