thought I'd post some pics of previous finds.the pipe thing with the star is 2w x 2 5/8 h-got no idea what its for.the bells were found along a fence row on a piece of rotten rope, the rest at beaches and old homesteads.the silver bracelet was found in s dried up lake at 10-came out black as tar-used a buffing wheel and compound on it.thanks for looking-got plenty of other finds that need to be photographed.

Sweet finds. Some of that cutlery looks old. Nice beach finds too. Not sure about the bells on a rope, but it may have been similar to the bells we found. John showed us a picture of our bells on an arced piece of metal. They were used on carriages to warn pedestrians they were coming. Maybe yours were used for something similar, or even on a sleigh. But some of the nicest bells I've seen.

Great finds! Thanks for the photos... really nice! I really like the bells.... would love to find some of those!

Beautiful bells, WW. thumbsup01
Got a few, but I only seen the upper-right one before... outa them 4. Very nice!

Nice variety of finds you got there.I am interested in the bells, not sure what they would have been used for.Maybe they were tied to the fence and rang to call some pet or livestock in.I will try to research the type when I get a chance.

i found some bells like that with brass chain still attached.there were 3 of em.they are some sort of bell chimes the home owner told me.not very old from the 1970's .same designs and shape as yours.mine went in the brass bucket off to be melted.
