I found George!

Went out today with high aspirations of hunting an early 1900's farm house that was built by a judge. Well I tried going there and they were not home and tried another farm house nearby. Again no one was home and ended up going to my in-laws house. Over the years of hunting there I have found 2 Walkers, 2 Mercs, 1 Rosie and now have a 1946D Washington to add to the running total for their yard. I found it in an area where there is a lot of burried trash and must have been a little off on my pinpoint. I noticed I put a small nick on the reverse of the coin. The best part of all is that is my 25th silver coin for the year and I have reached my goal! I know it does not seem like many silver compared to some people but for this area it is not too bad. I shattered last years total for the year of 17. Thanks for looking!

You shattered my own silver count this year, and last. :)

Just means we have more challenging circumstances.

LOVE those silver quarters, they are rare! Great find Steve

Don't feel bad, I'm not much of a silver guy myself. But if Angel decides he's gonna hit cellar holes, I'm gonna hit every park within 50 miles of him   ;) Matter of fact, why don't you come up here and we can camp on them parks. We'll have you up to 100 silvers in no time. Silver in any way, shape, or form is good news. You had a great hunt.
