Hi dusty,

I'm an austrian girl, i recently read about your trip to iceland with metaldetecting! Can i ask you, whats the law actually? Is it allowed to search ingeneral or not? I've understood, that everything older than 100 years i have to report, i can accept that. But do i have to get a permission in advance? If yes, where?

Please be so kind and tell me, i want to take my MDwith me...

Thanks a lot!

Greetings from vienna (romain and celtic territory)

I have used that username for quite some time on the whites forum, taint right ,one of us is gonna have to change to avoid confusion. or take our chances. what say you JIM
Hey there I hope you get email notifications ... Anyways I live in alexandria and I just purchased a detector should arive in the mail on Friday (I hope) I've been scouring the net for some locals to hunt with seeing as in new to this
Here are two that I own. I had shoulder surgery about three years ago. Before that I could not swing a detector for years with out the Docs Swing thingy. I purchased the Minelab harness for when Im swining a very large coil. The Minelab harness is easier to use but cost more. I would purchase the Pro-Swing through a local Minelab dealer or try Big Boy Hobbies, he is a good guy.
The Swing Thingy can be purchased here. http://www.docsdetecting.com

hope this helps. Where are you retired from? I'm hoping to retire in 1.5 years I'll have 30 years in at that time. Good luck and happy hunting.

I'm a retired firefighter who just started detecting about 6 months ago and have been enjoying the hobby greatly. My question is to those with more experience than myself I recently cashed in my clad coin and added a gift certificate from Whites and purchased a coin pro detector for my wife to use so that we could enjoy the hobby together. Our problem is my wife had major surgery to her right shoulder last year and she still has issues with it when she tried detecting. Is there a harness that would work well with her coinpro.
Hey Greg , welcome to the Forum. I just got my first metal detector this Xmas. I'm from San Jose as well and was wondering if You could share any spots you might recommend. Anything would help ! Happy Hunting !
hello there Bob,
Im in dover NH and looking to start setting up hunting spots and group hunts for next year 2015. I have a flexible schedule and able to set hunts up a few days ahead of time with several days off to make time for others to make hunts able. let me know if you would be interested in setting up hunts for the spring time
I know, I know Dan. I have very long days and by the time I finally get home and settle down, I don't feel like doing anything..lol. I gotta make an album soon. I will try
I was going to comment on one of your plates (I was looking at other stuff and stumbled onto more info on it) but i see you still haven't made an album.
